Cool

It's beginning to look a lot like Thanksgiving, everywhere you go. Yes, here we are in the month where we give thanks. (although we should probably give thanks a lot more often, it's a good place to start) November is full of fun stuff to do, especially the holiday who-has, what-nots and doo-dads. In keeping with the tradition of this list, we will not refer to holidays specificly until after thanksgiving. We will also refer to one of the main representatives of one of these major holidays simply as "the guy in the red suit" until after thanksgiving as well. (I checked, and he's with it) So, you will see many holiday events on this list a bit early, but that's just to help you plan for them if you do in fact plan to attend.

First the Holidays
Nov 4th is election day (vote early, vote often)
Nov 11th is veterans day
Nov 27th is turkey day (unless you're a turkey )
(probably could have done ala mode this month, but we'll work on that later)

Daylight savings time ends Nov 2nd (fall back, but not too far you might hit your head)

More november holidays here...

Cool

Ok, we need a flavor for November. Tough call here, since I used ala mode last month. We could just carry that over since the holidays are upon us opening with turkey day at the end of November but that would be waaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyy tooooooooo easy. Then again, what's better than a nice warm piece of pie ala mode. Heck, even a brownie ala mode will work. Perhaps the pumpkin pie could be considered ala mode if it's was "moded up" with some whipped cream. (might be a reach, but work with me on this one). Gotta love that hot apple pie with the ice cream (or frozen yogurt) melting down over the top of it or even some pecan pie or cobbler of some sort. MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM-MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM! Tasty stuff indeed.
I really need to get off this ala mode thing though, because now I'm thinking about apple pie with cinnamon ice crea....
WAIT, cinnamon!!!!!!!
Cinnamon deserves a month, it deserves a dozen months.
Cinnamon takes a back seat to no other flavor.

And yet, it works so well as the mode in ala mode so we can still mode with it or any other flavor we like.

So cinnamon it is, but wait there's more!
There is?
Well yes, if you order today ...
(ok, lost my train of thought there for a minute sorry 'bout that)
To be fair to those who arent big fans of cinnamon or those who just aren't in the mood to mode we will simply honor ice cream in it's most portable and easy to eat form... The ice cream sammi!

as always, all chips, chunks, dips, dunks, (you know the rest) are in as well)

Now how about some comedy!
